Join us for an evening of kīrtan at The Queer Temple, Salasbananas Yoga & Art Studio in Talpe.
Kīrtan is a devotional practice of singing sacred names and mantras. In the call-and-response form we will share, one voice leads and the gathering answers. Repetition gives us time to become familiar with the words, listen more closely and participate at our own pace.
Our evening takes its name from Radha and Govinda, a name of Krishna. Their devotional relationship offers the inspiration for our gathering: love, longing and the possibility of becoming intimate with what we hold sacred.
We welcome you to explore that invitation through sound and shared presence.
