Hatha Yoga: The Art of Being with the Body

Hatha Yoga is the practice of staying. Not rushing into the next thing. Not escaping the moment. It is the quiet art of meeting yourself in the body and breathing through what rises.

The Art of Being with the Body

Hatha, the sacred union of sun and moon, strength and softness, teaches us how to hold a posture and be held by it in return. In every pose we breathe through the effort, sit with the sensation, and gently witness the mind as it tries to run away. This is why I love Hatha Yoga. It invites us to pause, feel, and listen. It is not performance. It is presence.

Beginning the Hatha Yoga Series

This is the first post in my new blog series on Hatha Yoga.
In the weeks ahead, I will share the deeper meaning behind foundational postures — how they align energy, open the body, and mirror the lessons of life. We will explore asanas like Tadasana, Virabhadrasana, Balasana, and more, not just in form, but in spirit.
