Creative Pooja: The Art of Nourishing What We Create
A Monthly Creative Pooja at Salasbananas
Beginning in November 2026, my intention is to offer Creative Pooja on the first Thursday of each month at Salasbananas the Queer Temple in Thalpe, Sri Lanka.
Each gathering will welcome guest practitioners, artists and facilitators who bring their own creative practices and perspectives into the space.
One month might explore sound and vibration. Another might invite movement, visual art, poetry, storytelling, ritual or deep rest.
The practices may change, but the intention remains.
To create a space where creativity can be honoured, nourished and celebrated.
And where artists, dreamers, visionaries, changemakers and queer bodies can gather in community, beyond competition, comparison and the pressure to perform.
I envision this becoming an ongoing devotional practice, something we return to month after month.
Not simply another event on our calendars, but a conscious relationship with the creative life moving through us.
Divine Feminine Activation Through Creation
Creativity is not a luxury or an extra reserved for when life feels settled. It is the reason we chose this human body. In this piece, I explore divine feminine activation through embodiment, trust over calm, anchored desire, and creation as a path of liberation. Drawing from yoga, lived experience, and daily practice in Sri Lanka, this reflection invites us back into the body as a place of knowing, coherence, and creative truth
